Southwest Region: Teays Valley Association Spring Rally 

            It was an awesome evening as the Teays Valley Association women met at Highlawn Baptist Church St. Albans.  Thursday, April 30th was another beautiful day inside and outside of the church building.

            Highlawn graciously hosted the evening with Jean Wallace, Highlawn’s President leading the way.  Jean also presented us with a wonderful devotion on the body of Christ found in I Corinthians 12:12.  Attendance banner also went to the women at Highlawn for having the most present at this spring rally. The program presented was from four team members of the Kairos Prison Ministry: Linda Close, Melisa Morse, Candance Berger and Nancy Adkins.  It was evident that these ladies had a passion for the women incarcerated at Lakin Correctional Center in Pt. Pleasant.

            The Teays Valley Women have a desire to connect to women in this ministry.  It was a beautiful evening spent with beautiful women who have beautiful hearts for God’s mission and ministry.  This is a wonderful time to be a part of the West Virginia Women’s Ministry.  Things are happening with these Teays Valley women.
