Women’s Day Sunday at First Baptist Church of St. Albans

Thank you Barbara Laughery for the invitation to attend your Women’s Day Sunday on August 9, 2026.  It was a beautiful day with  speaker Lisa Simmons giving the message Reliant Confidence based on John 18:27, Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:14.

Attending both services with these beautiful women, I am once again reminded how busy they are in their ministry.  We all signed a banner for the Ann Bailey Elementary School Teachers as they prepare to go into the 2026-2027 School Year.  The banner is a beautiful reminder that the teachers and school staff will be prayed for throughout the year by the St. Albans Women. 

I love how these women shine the light of Jesus in their church and in their community.
